PERCELL BOYKIN

KENLY -- Percell Boykin, 82, died Monday.

A memorial service honoring his life will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Boykin Family Cemetery.

Mr. Boykin is survived by a daughter, Wanda Kay Black and husband, Dwight, of Wilson; three sons, Walter A. Boykin and wife, Judy, and Mark D. Boykin and wife, Pam, all of Kenly, and Jeffery P. Boykin of Wilson; one sister, Viola Guin of Las Vegas, Nev.; three granddaughters, Krista McClain of Clayton, Laura Dixson of Wilson and Hannah Joy Boykin of Kenly; one grandson, Chad Boykin of Kenly; three step-grandchildren, Aimee Strickland, Michelle Griffin and Vernon Bass; and six great-grandchildren, Justin, Grace, Luke, Hunter, Brandon, James and Robert.

The family will receive friends on Thursday night from 7 until 9 at Joyner's Funeral Home in Wilson, and at other times at 975 Pollock Road, Kenly.
