Mary Elizabeth Pittman Davis, 94, died Friday in Washington, N.C.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas Austin Pittman and Annie Daisy Gilmer Pittman. She graduated from Guilford College in 1932 and was a member of the Guilford College Choir. She sang in the choir at the Presbyterian church in Kenly and later served as organist for the church.
Her husband, Irvin Nicholas Davis, and a son, George Thomas Davis, preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Elizabeth Moore of Washington; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Coley Funeral Home in Kenly.
