JAMES LEWIS

A funeral service for James Lee Lewis, 76, Silver Spring, Md., formerly of Goldsboro, will be held 1 p.m. Monday at St. Delight Church, in Parkstown. Burial will follow in the Old Mill Cemetery. The Rev. Edward E. Lewis will officiate.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred L. Lewis of LaGrange; three sons, the Rev. James Lewis of Goldsboro, Kelvin Lewis of LaGrange, and Jeffrey Lewis of Washington, D.C.; three daughters, Patricia Patrick of LaGrange, Jackie Lewis of Washington D.C., and Gwendolyn Jacobs of Goldsboro; two step-brothers, the Rev. Pete Hodges of Colorado and William Hodges of Washington D.C.; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Sunday from 2 until 6 p.m. at the McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries. The family will assemble at 413 Hunters Creek 12 p.m. Monday in preparation for the funeral procession.
