EVA MAE BOSEMAN
CALYPSO -- Eva Mae Boseman, 79, of 317 Fourth St., died at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
She was the daughter of the late Alex Bryant and Octavia Winn. She attended the Wayne County Public Schools.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the New St. Delight Holiness Church, 693 Suttontown Road, Mount OIive. Pastor Dr. Quincey Gardner will preside and Pastor Melvin Ingram will give the eulogy.
She is survived by Minister Sandra (Simon) Oates of Calypso, with whom she lived with; Evangelist Nellie Bynum, Evangelist Doris Kornegay, Julia Boseman, Dora (Thomas) Whitfield, all of Goldsboro; Glenda (Danny) Lanier of Dudley; five children whom she reared, Judy (Dwayne) Hill, Shirley Russell, all of Dudley, Joyce (Lawrence) Hall of Beulaville, Billy (Sonja) Russell of Mount Olive, John Earl (Sherry) Russell of Faison; a daughter-in-law, Ruby Boseman of Goldsboro; four sisters, Glory, Ruth of Goldsboro, Dorothy Mae of Pink Hill, Shirley of Dudley; six brothers, Joes Lewis of New Jersey, Ennis of Dudley, Vance and Willie of Goldsboro, Orlander of Rocky Mount, Tronsel of Grantham; two aunts, Fannie of Dudley, Essie and husband, Mr. Jones of New Jersey; 28 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Monday from 3 until 7 p.m. in the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel.
