Timothy Michael Combs, 52, of 569 Powell Road, died Saturday at his home.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Donald Sauls will officiate.
Mr. Combs was a Wilson County native and was the son of Barbara Sauls Combs of Nashville, N.C., and the late Ross Combs. He was employed as inspection supervisor with Firestone.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Clara Newsome Combs; one daughter, Christine Combs of Greenville; one son, Scott Michael Combs of Wilmington; one stepson, Mark Gambrel of Goldsboro; one sister, Angela Lynch of Nashville; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home following the memorial service, and other times at the home of Eloise Newsome, 223 NC 581 South, Goldsboro.
