LYNN COKER

Beverly Lynn Coker, 48, of 2398 U.S. 13 North, died Monday at her home.

She was born in Wayne County and was the daughter of Bill Coker of Goldsboro and Jean Bunn of Kenly. She had worked as a waitress in several area restaurants.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons, Ryan Newsome and Tyler Benton; two daughters, Lyndsey Benton and Alex Benton; her stepfather, the Rev. Roney Bunn of Kenly; two sisters, Sylvia Smith of LaGrange and Rhonda Coker Butts of Goldsboro; two nieces, Lisa Yeargin of Wendell and Karrie King of Goldsboro; and a nephew, Michael Cruse of Goldsboro.

She is also survived by two stepbrothers, Bryant Bunn of Kenly and Ricky Bunn of Wilson; and one stepsister, Sandy Bunn of Wilson.

The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Reynolds Smith officiating. Interment will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange.

The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home following the service tonight, and other times at the home of Rhonda and Don Butts, 107 Forest Drive, Goldsboro.
