MOUNT OLIVE -- Mignonette O'Berry Spurgeon, 64, of 1611 Kelly Springs Road, died early Tuesday at her home.

A service of remembrance will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Tyndall Funeral Home. The Rev. Sherman Dilley will officiate.

Mrs. Spurgeon was a member of Northeast Free Will Baptist Church and was employed as a registered nurse at Cherry Hospital with a long tenure of service.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Allen Spurgeon of the home; her mother, Thelma Barwick Pinyatello of Mount Olive; two sons, Kenneth Floyd Reardon Jr. and his wife, Lecia, of Mount Olive and Benjamin Wilson Reardon of Dudley; three grandchildren, Brandy Jane Reardon, Allen Rotha Reardon, and Dixie Noel Reardon; two sisters, Iris O. Wooten of Mount Olive and Jane P. Booth of Turkey; two brothers, Benjamin James "Jimmy" O'Berry of Pennsylvania and George Pinyatello of Turkey; a special friend, Nannie Lou Herring of Mount Olive; and her special nieces and nephews.

Her father, Benjamin O'Berry, and her stepfather, Tony Pinyatello, preceded her in death.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial gifts may be made to Northeast Free Will Baptist Church, 489 Northeast Church Road, Mount Olive.
