Paul W. Whaley, 58, of Pink Hill, died Saturday at his home.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Pink Hill Funeral Home. The Rev. Andy Johnson will conduct the service. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Paul Whaley owned and operated Whaley Masonry for 34 years. He was a long-time member of Pink Hill Church of God, where he served on the finance committee and was superintendent of the Sunday school department.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Whaley; one son, Steve Whaley of Pink Hill; one daughter, Ann Semones of Newport; one sister, Margaret Jones of Pink Hill; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, S.J. and Alma Whaley, and four brothers.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Pink Hill Church of God, P.O. Box 235, Pink Hill, N.C., 28572.
