WARSAW -- The funeral for William L. Darden, 61, of 207 Best St., will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Jude Disciple Church with Pastor Everlena Oliver officiating. Burial will be in the Devotional Gardens.
Mr. Darden died Tuesday at Glencare Nursing Center.
He was the son of the late James and Anliza Broadhurst Darden and was employed as a truck driver with Carroll Foods.
He is survived by his wife, Lena G. Darden of the home; one son, Randy Darden of Warsaw; two daughters, Shelia Darden of Warsaw and Rozina Barden of Mount. Olive; one sister, Earlene Melvin of Warsaw and six grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 6 today at Garris Funeral Home, and at the church one hour prior to the funeral.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
