Malissie Johnson Boney, 86, died Thursday at New Hanover Hospital in Wilmington.
She is survived by two sons, Steve L. Boney of Goldsboro and Ralph Boney Sr. of Teachey; four daughters, Helen Williams of Durham, Lonnie Parker of Rocky Mount, Hattie Anderson of Atlanta, Ga., Velma Leavins of Beulaville.
A viewing will be held Tuesday from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at Rockfish AME Church, Teachey, with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m.
