Mittie Kornegay, 97, of 106-C Taylor St., LaGrange, died Sunday at her home.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ. Bishop Bobby Cox will officiate. Burial will be in Rhodes Cemetery on Durham Lake Road.
Surviving are five daughters, Laddie Sutton of Dudley, Rachel Horton and Leatha Kornegay of Goldsboro, Mittie Exum and Christina Graham of LaGrange; one brother, Robert Jones of Goldsboro; three sisters, Argie Pryor of Ft. Washington, Md., Veola Brown of Kinston and Elnora Chestnut of Fremont; and 22 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and 56 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8 at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro.
