SEVEN SPRINGS -- John Benjamin "J.B." Price, 58, of 3463 NC Highway 111 South, died Tuesday in Pamlico County.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home. The Reverends Phillip Garrett and Ashley Summerlin will officiate. Burial will be in the Grady Family Cemetery.
Mr. Price was born in Wayne County to Edna Creech Price of Seven Springs and the late John Charles Price, Jr. He. was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Seven Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Velma Swinson Price; son, Gary Price and wife, Christen, of Dudley; two brothers, Donald Price and wife, Linda, Glenn Price and wife, Maria, all of Seven Springs; sister, Brenda Moore and husband, Shelton of Seven Springs; grandson, Austin Gage Price; and his faithful canine friend, Boâ.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 3 until 5 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, and at other times at the residence.
