Margie Barbour Fail, 66, of 2127 Old Smithfield Hwy., died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A native of Johnston County, she was born Sept. 29, 1939 to the late Hunter and Addie Allen Barbour. Mrs. Fail was a homemaker.
A funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Monday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverends Freddie Langston and Chris Watkins will officiate. Internment will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hastings Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Walter "Clyde" Fail; a daughter, Sherry Blackburn and husband, Bernie of Fayetteville; sons, Jerome Fail and wife, Debbie of Grantham, and Don Fail and wife, Barbara of Newton Grove; a sister, Louise Benson of Clayton; a brother, Connie Barbour of Clayton; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fail was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Fail Millard.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home Monday evening. They will receive friends other times at the residence.
