SNOW HILL -- Thomas Freeman "Freddie" Price Jr., 57, died Tuesday at his home.

The funeral will be held by the graveside on Friday at 11 a.m. at Marshburn Family Cemetery. The Rev. Alvin Keener will conduct the service.

Mr. Price was a native Greene County and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a civil service employee until declining health forced him to retire. He was a member of Harrell's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the NC Falconry Guild and the International Arabian Horse Association.

He is survived by four daughters, Kimberly Fasula and Melissa Adams of Newport and Shaun Guthrie and Shannon Smith of Beaufort; and five grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at the family home, 1775 Corbett Town Road, throughout the day Thursday and a formal visitation will be held there from 7 until 9 on Thursday night.

Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

STEVE SLUSSER

Died Nov. 14, 2005

Steve Slusser, 59, a former resident of Goldsboro, died Monday in California.

He is survived by his mother, Ann Slusser of Goldsboro; his wife, Karen, and two sons, Kevin and Shawn of California; and one sister, Mrs. Robert (Carol) Pridemore of Aurora, Colo.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Slusser residence in California.
