ZALENE THOMPSON

SELMA -- Zalene Lane Thompson, 72, died Tuesday.
She was the daughter of the late Barney W. and Sophie Pittman Lane and the wife of Henry Debrow Thompson.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Donnie Gene Worrells of Selma and Roy Worrells Jr. of Harrellsville; one daughter, Marry Etta Worrells of Wilson; one brother, David Barnes "D.B." Lane of Cross, S.C.; two sisters, Leerene Lane of Goldsboro and Lisa Shook of Kenly; and four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The funeral was held today at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, with Joe Hayes officiating. Burial was in Selma Memorial Gardens.
