MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Blanche Davis, 99, of 103 Gordon St., will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Smith Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Elder Antonio Blow will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park, near Goldsboro.
Ms. Davis died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro.
She is survived by one daughter, Omica D. Bowden of the home; three granddaughters, Carolyn Batts of Greensboro, Sylvia Hayes of Lakewood, Wash., and Gaynelle Diaz of Alexandria, Va.; and seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 7 p.m. on Saturday at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries in Mount Olive.
