Wanda Bynum Gillispie, 41, died Sunday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Best Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be at Parrott Cemetery.
Mrs. Gillispie is survived by her husband, Melvin Gillispie, of the home; her mother Lena Bynum of Snow Hill; her father, Harvey Bynum of Snow Hill; three sons, Tekevious Best of Snow Hill, Lavar Carmon of Germany and Domonique Gillispie of LaGrange; two daughters, Klarissa Bynum of Raleigh and Ladacia Seaward of Kinston; five brothers, Larry Williams of Baltimore, Harvey Bynum Jr. of Washington, D.C., Freddie Lee Bynum of Stantonsburg, Melvin Bynum of Sanford and Jeffery Williams of Wilson; and nine sisters, Ruby Joseph of Bronx, N.Y., Marylene Sutton of Snow Hill, Annie Speight of Fremont, Alma Speight of Pikeville, Deborah Thompson of Baltimore, Linda Sharpe of Rocky Mount, Brenda Ruffins of Wilson, Helen Jones of New Haven, Conn. and Jewel Johnson of Walstonburg.
The wake will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home.
