Mickey Okuda McQueen, 78, of 218 Bryant Circle died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Kyoto, Japan, and was married to Samuel McQueen.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The Rev. Johnny Sasser will be officiate.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, William McQueen of Goldsboro, Jimmy McQueen of Raleigh and Richie McQueen of Mellisa, Texas; two daughters, Anna Partee of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Christie Barron of Raleigh; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and at other times at the residence
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C., 27834; or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, Va., 22038-1131.
