Doris Taylor Leggett, 74, died Saturday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jack Sauls will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
A native of Owensboro, Ky., Mrs. Leggett was the daughter of the late Richard D. and Leona Wells Taylor and the widow of Joseph R. Leggett. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Saundra Forrest of London, Ky., and Sherri Haithcock of Goldsboro; two brothers, Richard L. Taylor of Win-chester, Ky., and Gary M. Taylor of Springfield, Ohio; three grandchildren, Michelle Burlingame, Michael Lancaster and Christopher Blackmon; and three great-grandchildren, Richard Adams Jr., Autumn Newhart and Noel Spencer.
Her son, Rick A. Blackmon, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the residence of Sherri Haithcock, 129 Miller St., Goldsboro.
