Margie C. Cox, 82, of 1405 Poplar St., Apt. 1, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at New Stoney Hill United Holy Church. El-der Howard McNair will officiate. Bur-ial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Cox was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary McKinnie Holloman and was a former employee of Mt. Olive Pickle Company.
She is survived by one son, Howard Croom Sr. of Goldsboro; six daughters, Christine B. Pierce, Brenda Croom, Donna Edwards and Lorene Cox of Goldsboro, Linda Croom of Dudley and Laura Edwards of Pikeville; two sisters, Dorothy Bell of Goldsboro and Margaret Rowe of Jersey City, N.J.; and 26 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 4 until 7 today at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
