LORENES JOHNSON
DUDLEY -- Lorenes Lee "Renes" Johnson, 90, of 4651 U.S. 117 Alternate, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday at
2 p.m. at St. Delight United Holy Church. The Rev. Quincey Gardner will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Newton Grove.
Mrs. Johnson was the widow of George Johnson and the daughter of the late Eartha and Fannie Bennett Lee. She was a member of Wesley Homemaker Club and St.. Delight Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Edna Jones of Dudley and Mildred Shelton of Newark, N.J.; two brothers, Albert M. Lee of Four Oaks and James H. Lee of Clinton, Md.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 4 until 7 today at Powell & Rhodes Funeral Home in Mount Olive.
