KENLY -- Georgia Hooks Walker, 84, of 3429 Bosco Road, died Friday at Rex Nursing Care Center.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. today at Coley Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Goss will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kenly Cemetery.
Mrs. Walker was a WWII Veteran and served in Women's Army Corps.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Walker; one daughter, Margie Walker of Cary; six sons, Joey Walker III of New Hill, Wayne Allen of Raleigh, Julius Walker of New Hill, Scott Vaugh of New Hill, Bill Lavante of New Hill, Robert Walker of Angier; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family received friends Saturday evening from 7 until 9 at Coley Funeral Home.
