Lawrance Monte Brinson, 73, of Mount Olive, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Calypso. The Rev. Clifford C. Hunt will officiate.
Mr. Brinson is survived by one sister, Mary Eliza Stevens of Calypso, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The viewing hours will be from 1 until 6 on Saturday afternoon at McIntyre Funeral Home in Mount Olive. The family will receive friends there from 6 until 7 on Saturday evening.
The family will assemble at 514 Center St. in Calypso to prepare for the funeral procession.
