AYDEN -- William Herbert Hodges, 47, brother of Ruth Hodges of Goldsboro, died Sunday.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Farmer Funeral Service. The Rev. Dexter Darden will officiate.
In addition to his sister, Mr. Hodges is survived by his wife, Deborah W. Hodges; two sons, James William Hodges and Matthew Thomas Hodges of Greenville; a daughter, Samantha Leigh Hodges of Winterville; two brothers, Jimmy Lee Hodges and Donald Wayland Hodges of Greenville; four other sisters, Francine Hardee of Grimesland, Ruby Balance of Wilmington, Brenda Lane of Tarboro and Linda Hodges of Bethel; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Farmer Funeral Service in Ayden, and other times at the residence at 3464 Toba Court, Ayden.
