CLINTON --The funeral for James "Dick" Faison, 75 of 590 S. McCullen Road, will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Holly Grove Disciple Church of Christ. Elder Elliott Faison and the Rev. Terrell Powell will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Faison died Friday at Wake Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Elliott and Ada Sampson Faison and was a retired farmer.
Surviving are four daughters, Evangelist Diane Jefferson of Clinton, Mary Faison of Greenville, Cynthia Graves of Burlington and Dickie Sue Faison of Raleigh; five sons, Elder Elliott Faison, Russiaville, Ind., Minister Ivory Faison of Wilson, Michael Faison of Greensboro, Minister Robert Faison of Goldsboro, and Dawain Faison of Creedmoor; one sister, Alice Butler of Clinton; and 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
An inspirational wake service will be held today from 6 until 8 p.m. at the church.
The family will receive friends at the home of Evangelist Diane Jefferson, 376 Bernice Road., Clinton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holly Grove Disciple Church, P.O. Box 1486, Clinton, NC 28328.
