Maggie Myers Young, 85, of 1188 Dobbersville Road, died Friday.
Born Aug. 5, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Luna Howell Myers, and the wife of the late Vernon Young. She was preceded in death by two sons, Vernon Rayford Young and George Young.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. today in the Selah Church Cemetery. The Reverends Ronnie Massey and Ralph Parker will officiate.
She is survived by five sons, William Young of Grantham, J.B. Young of Grantham, Gerald Young of Smithfield, Charles Young of Grantham, and Steven Young of Grantham; three brothers, James Myers of Pine Level, Preston Myers of Archer's Lodge, and Glenn Myers of Four Oaks; two sisters, Bonnie Davis of Goldsboro, and Shirley Myers of Goldsboro; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family received friends Saturday evening from 7 until 9 at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
