HELEN P. MOZINGO

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Helen Alene Price Mozingo, 92, died Tuesday.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Seven Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Terry Hobbs will officiate.
Mrs. Mozingo was born in Wayne County to the late Luby Graham Price and Mattie Ann Griffin Price. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Mozingo; one son, Floyd B. Mozingo; one daughter, Paula M. Daly; one grandchild, Neil Lloyd Mozingo; one sister, Lorena P. Stroud; and six brothers, Dallas, Dalton, Earl, Bruce, Malcolm and Pinkney Price.
She was a member of Seven Springs United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir for many years. She retired from the Wayne County Public School System, having been employed in the cafeteria at Southern Wayne Senior High School.
Her survivors include three children, Lloyd M. Mozingo and wife, Carolyn, of Goldsboro, Anne M. Blanchard and husband, Harry, of Seven Springs and Betty Lou M. Rhodes of Kinston; one brother, Bill Price and wife, Pat, of Burlington; one son-in-law, Charles Daly of Goldsboro; three sisters-in-law, Mary B. Price, Bertha Mae M. Sanderock and Virginia R. Price; seven grandchildren, Cindy W. Hill, Lottie M. Sides and husband, Steve, Sheri R. Whitaker and husband, Richard, Dawn W. Schappell and husband, Steve, Harold Daly, Frederick Rhodes and wife, Pam, and Paul Daly; seven great-grandchildren, Jack Sides, Neil Sides, Sybil Sides, Daniel Hill, Victoria Hill, Elizabeth Schappell and Stephanie Schappell.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home.
