JAMES A. GARFIELD

A funeral service for James A. Garfield will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Autryville. Burial will follow in the Mill Branch Cemetery, also located in Autryville. The Rev. Ricky Dawson Sr. will deliver the eulogy.

Mr. Garfield is survived by four brothers, Earl Williams of Baltimore, Md., Tom Williams of Autryville, James Ray Williams of Dunn, and Quincy Corbett Jr. of Golds-boro; one sister, Christine Williams of Mount Olive; three aunts, Rose Ann Lamb of Pittsburgh, Pa., Vertie Mae Vann of Clinton, and JoAnn Lamb of Goldsboro; one uncle, James Lamb of Goldsboro; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Monday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. The family will recieve friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at McIntrye Funeral Home Ministries, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro.
