Willard Allen Gautier, 61, of 1085-C Aquilla Road, died at his home Friday morning.

Born July 8, 1944, to Mildred Louise Harvell Grant and the late Jessie Willard Gautier, he was a native of Sampson County. Mr. Gautier was a heating and air conditioning mechanic for Trammell-Crow and a U.S. Army veteran.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Gautier.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Coats. The Reverends Tommy Smith and Beth Best will officiate. Burial will follow in the Devotional Gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Faye W. Gautier; a daughter, Tanya Gautier of Benson; a son, Marty Gautier of Smithfield; two granddaughters; his mother, Louise H. Grant of Dudley; brothers, Curtis Wayne Gautier of Benson, Tony Carroll Gautier of New Bern, Charles William Gautier of Aurora, Jessie Linwood Gautier of Bayboro, Paul Edward Moody of Dudley; sisters, Dorothy Whaley of Bridgeton, Merenday Gautier of Dudley; special family friends, and the Bobby Hobbs family.

The family will receive friends at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats Sunday evening from 7 until 9, and other times at the home.
