PEARL PITTMAN

WILSON -- Pearl Williamson Pittman, 91, died Monday at Wil Med Nursing Home.
She was born in Pitt County to McCray and Addie Williamson. She was the widow of Gilmer Guy Pittman and was a member of the First Christian Church in Wilson.
She is survived by two daughters, Pat McRae of Goldsboro and June Turner of Fountain Inn, S.C.; two brothers, Charles Williamson of Woodstock, Va., and Donald Williamson of Hudson, Fla.; and six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A gathering to celebrate Mrs. Pittman's life was held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home. The Rev. J. Lynn White officiated. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral.
