David Harding West, 43, of Kenansville, died Sunday at his home.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday night at 7 at Kenansville Baptist Church. Dr. Mike Thompson and Angie Partin officiated.
Mr. West was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Aaron West; his mother, Jan Harding West, his stepmother, Jean Matthis West; and his grandparents, Henry M. West Sr. and Leona Houston West.
He is survived by an uncle, Henry M. West Jr. of Warsaw; and three cousins, Tarla W. Smith of Warsaw, Lisa D. West of Cary and Amy W. Cooke of Kenansville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kenansville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 865, Kenansville, N.C., 28349; or to the charity of one's choice.
Community Funeral Home of Warsaw is serving the family.
