WILLIAM COOKE

WARSAW -- William H. "Bill" Cooke, 68, died Sunday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Community Funeral Home. Entombment will be on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Devotional Gardens.

Mr. Cooke was the son of the late Charlie R. and Thelma Ezzell Cooke of Duplin County and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Terry Cooke of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Todd Cooke of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three grandchildren, Myles, Amanda and Thyme; three brothers, Bobby Cooke of Fair Oaks, Calif., Jerry Cooke of Warsaw and Larry Cooke of Richmond, Va.; one sister, Helen Cooke English of Watha; and a special friend, Shelby Heath of Clinton.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Cooke and Ollie Cooke, and one grandson, Jason.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service tonight, and other times at the residence.
