Alice Faye Sutton Bryant of Washington, D.C., died Tuesday.
She was born in 1943 and was formerly of Wayne and Johnston counties.
Among her survivors are two daughters, Tracy and Lisa Bryant, of Washington, D.C.; three sons, James, Anthony and Gregory Bryant of Suitland, Md.; her mother, Bertha Dickerson Sutton of Goldsboro; five sisters, Christine Sutton, Mary Kent, Wanda Forysthe and Joyce Newkirk of Goldsboro and Angelene Wilder of Washington, D.C.; one brother, Anderson Sutton Jr. of Washington, D.C.; and 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A wake will be held Saturday morning from 9:30 until 11 at New Bethel Church of Christ in Washington, D.C., and the funeral will be held there immediately afterward.
