Erskine W. Bass, 74, died Wednesday.
He had served in the Army and retired from sales at Kenly Ford.
A funeral will be held 6 p.m. Friday, First Baptist Church, Stantonsburg, with visitation to follow. A committal service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Stantonsburg Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Webb Bass; daughter, Kim Boone (Keith) of Fayetteville; son, Woody Bass (Meredyth) of Cary; five grandchildren; sister, Eulah Neal of Goldsboro.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Boone.
