Malcolm Boyette Williams, 83, died Wednesday at Two Rivers Healthcare, Trent Campus of New Bern.

He was born in Wayne County Dec. 6, 1921, to the late Harvey Williams and Estelle Kornegay Williams. He was married to the late Mildred Pierce Williams. He was a former deputy with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office and was the owner and operator of United Security Services.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Mike Scott officiating.

He is survived by three daughters, Lorraine Sutton of Wilmington, Kathleen Howard of Goldsboro and Civeleen Arrington of Vanceboro; three sons, Ray Williams of Goldsboro, John Williams of Kinston and Mack Williams of Vanceboro; a sister, Alma Bradley of Goldsboro; three brothers, Earl Williams of LaGrange, Chester Williams of Pikeville and Roland Williams of Goldsboro; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
