The funeral for Dewey Theodore Harris, of 308 Wayne Ave., will be held Saturday at noon in the chapel of Lightner Memorial Funeral Home. Elder Ronnie Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Harris is survived by two daughters, Joyce Harris Best of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Cynthia Harris Eggleston of Durham; one brother, Raddor Harris of Goldsboro; one sister, Awortha Smith of New Jersey; and six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
The viewing will be from 2 until 8 p.m. on Friday at Lightner Memorial Funeral Home. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence.
