Delbert Ray (WeeBee) Lofton, 45, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Tuesday after a brief battle with cancer.

God truly needed an Angel. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his parents, Ernest (Mutt) and Elma Lofton; his four brothers, Larry Lofton, Ernie Lofton, Victor Lofton and Derrick Lofton; his four sisters, Linda Lofton, Inga Lofton, Nicol Lofton and Gamara Lofton; his son, Tyshon Lofton, and his daughters, Keela Wellington and Aniyia Lofton; his niece, Racquel Lofton-White, and his nephew, Justin Lofton-Russell.

The family will be receiving friends at the home at 218 Graham Street.

The viewing hours will be from 2 until 7 p.m. on Friday at McIntyre Funeral Home and the family will be there to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m.

The funeral will be officiated by Bishop Alton Smith and will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the First Assembly of God, 300 Summit Road, in Goldsboro. After a graveside service at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery the repass will be held at the HV Brown/Dillard Hall at 801 Poplar Street.
