LORRIE F. SMITH

DUDLEY -- Lorrie Forehand Smith, 83, died Tuesday at her home.
The funeral will be held Thurs-day morning at 11 in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Fu-neral Home with the Rev. Blane Smith officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Wayne County, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late Isaac and Leana Anderson Forehand and wife of the late Theron J. Smith. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Lassiter. She was a member of Dudley Christian Church and the church choir.
She is survived by two brothers and their wives, Isaac Juette and Julia Forehand of Statesville and Gordon and Margaret Forehand of Madisonville, Tenn.; one sister, Jane Whitley of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; and number of A and numerous nieces & nephews.
The family will greet friends immediately following the funeral service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to he Dudley Christian Church Building Fund, 212 O'Berry Road, Dudley, NC 28333.
