John Wellington Jr., 77, died last Thursday at his home in Washington, D.C.
The viewing will be held this Thursday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
Mr. Wellington was the son of the late John and Sarah Wellington.
He is survived by three sons, Ronnie, James, and John; three daughters, Sarah, Lisa, and Angel; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wellington was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Wellington.
