James Lee Faison, a native of Goldsboro residing in Washington, D.C., died Thursday at Greater Southeast Community Hospital in Washington D.C.
A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 9 at Pope Funeral Home, 5538 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, Md. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday from the St. James A.M.E. Zion Church, 203 George St., Goldsboro. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Faison is survived by his wife, Ethel M. Faison; two sons, James Faison III and Franklin Von Faison; a grandson, Franklin Von Faison Jr.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Goldsboro Dillard Alumni at P.O. Box 1146.
Local arrangements are being handled by Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro.
