Gorman James Christine Jr., 81, died Wednesday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
A memorial service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church in New Bern, where he was a member. The Reverends Danny Allen and Charlene Guider will officiate.
Mr. Christine was born in York, Pa., to the late Gorman James Christine Sr. and Clara Darone Christine. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Christine; two daughters, Pamela Olp of York, Pa., and Tamara Ruddock of South Pasadena, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Victoria Lugo of Orlando, Fla., and Laura Rahlfs of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Carolyn Glatfelter and Ethyl Isenberg of York, Pa.; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
