JESSIE WILLIAMS

The funeral for Jessie Williams, 87, of 206-B East Elm St., will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Calypso. The Rev. C.C. Hunt will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mr. Williams was a former resident of Calypso and was the son of the late Oscar and Queen Esther Cooper Williams.

He is survived by three sons, Jerry Loftin of Goldsboro, Jimmy (Crystal) McNair of Kenansville and Keith McNair; three daughters, Jo-Ann (Larry) Jones of Goldsboro, Dorothy McNair of Fremont and Alice Ruth McNair; one brother, Theodore Williams of Oakland, Calif.; three sisters, Esther Lee Fernanders of Calypso; Odell Herring of Baltimore, Md., and Maggie Hardison of Jacksonville, N.C.; and eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and a special friend, Shirley Loftin of Goldsboro.

The viewing hours will be from 2 until 7 p.m. on Saturday at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries. The family will be there to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m.
