WALTER SIX

LUCAMA -- Walter E. Six, 75, of 7605 Rachel's Place, died Friday at Wilson Memorial Hospital.

The funeral was to be held today at 3 p.m. at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church, where he was a member and an elder, with Dr. Sefton Strickland officiating. Burial was to be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Six was a part of the 1st Marine Division in the Korean War Chosin Reservoir Campaign and was a member of the Chosin Few and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Gilda R. Six; three sons, W. Mark Six of Kenly and W. Matthew Six and W. Derek Six of Lucama; one brother, Jerry H. Six of Georgia; and one sister, Betty S. Witherspoon of Missouri.

The family received friends on Sunday night at Coley Funeral Home.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to Spring Hill Presbyterian Church.
