Rachel M. Walker, 71, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church, 309 N. Vick St., Wilson. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
Surviving are four daughters, Paula Devon Howell of Columbia, S.C., Pearline E. Joseph of North Lauderdale, Fla., Sharon Denise Pearson of Philadelphia, Pa., and Jennifer Leigh Walker of Goldsboro; one son, Vernon Lee Williams of Uvalida, Ga.; four sisters, Dorothy Lawrence and Georgia Mae Singletary of Pompano Beach, Fla., Rosa Lee Anderson of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and Virginia Washington of Lake City, S.C.; three brothers, John Singletary of Charleston, S.C., Robert Washington of Lake City, S.C., and Jimmy Washington of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 7 p.m. on Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home in Wilson.
The family will receive friends at 1005 Harris St., Goldsboro.
