GENE C. DANIELS
Gene C. "Geno" Daniels, 74, died Thursday at Craven Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at Greenleaf Memorial Park. The Rev. David Welch will officiate.
Mr. Daniels was a member of Spring Garden Baptist Church. He retired from the United States Air Force and also retired as a civil service aircraft mechanic at Cherry Point.
He is survived by three sons, Eddie Daniels of Havelock, Raymond Daniels of Morehead and David Daniels of Newport; one brother, Allen Daniels of Goldsboro; one sister, Blanche D. Gurganus of Goldsboro; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service on Saturday afternoon.
