HENRY L. CUNNINGHAM

SNOW HILL -- A graveside service for Henry Leonard Cunningham, 85, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Snow Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Leon Grubbs will officiate.

Mr. Cunningham died Monday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.

He was a native of Greene County, was the son of the late Henry Guy and Ora Harrison Cunningham and was the widower of Addie Harrison Cunningham. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a retired tobacco farmer.

He is survived by five stepsons, Fred W. Harrison of Kinston and Jerome Harrison, Phillip Harrison, Charles Harrison and Chester Harrison of Snow Hill; three sisters, Ruth Cunningham of Kinston, Grace Cunningham Furr of Albemarle and Nettie Cunningham Jernigan of Snow Hill; one brother, Percy Cunningham of LaGrange; and several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service, and other times at the home of David and Susan Harrison, 227 Peter Grant Road, Snow Hill.
