VIOLA R. HENRY

Viola Miller Riordan Henry, 76, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 8, 1929, in Orange County, Va., and was the daughter of the late Edward Miller and Viola McDaniel Miller. She was the widow of Paul R. Riordan and Harold "Shorty" Henry. She was formerly employed with the American Silk Mill and the American Woodmark, both in Orange, Va., and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Helen R. Clark and husband, James, of Goldsboro; one son, Bruce Riordan and wife, Ann, of Orange, Va.; two brothers, John H. Miller of Orange and Benjamin F. Miller of Gordonsville, Va.; one sister, Lucille F. Hemiback of Orange, Va.; four grandchildren, Kristie C. Crabtree and Bryan J. Clark of Goldsboro and David B. Riordan and Amy L. Rankin of Orange; and six great-grandchildren, Dylan Crabtree, Brittany Crabtree, Joshua Clark, Devin Michael Riordan, Mackensie L. Rankin and David Braden Riordan.

The funeral will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, Va. The Rev. Forest Porter will officiate. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery.

The family received friends on Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Preddy Funeral Home.
