JONATHAN LANE
Staff Sgt. Jonathan Carl Lane, 25, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Chapel. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Union Cemetery in Marion, Louisiana.
Mr. Lane was born in Farmerville, La., and was the son of Lawrence and Brenda W. Lane of Marion, La. He was in United States Air Force and was stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base after serving in Iraqi Freedom and in Korea. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his son, Tyler Jonathan.
In addition to his parents and his son, he is survived by his wife, Amy Vaccarello Lane; one brother, Erick Lane of Conway, Ariz.; and many relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and Saturday from 1 until 2:30 p.m. at Lithroe Baptist Church in Louisiana.
