THURMAN SMITH
Thurman Smith, 71, died Monday at Avante of Wilson.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Delight Church Cemetery, Kenly. Elder Rudolph Lofton will officiate.
Mr. Smith was the son of the late Thurman Smith Jr. and Olivia Terrell Locus.
He is survived by one sister, Barbara Ann Locus-Maffepp of Atlanta, Ga.; and three brothers, Johnny Locus of Lucama and Robert Locus and Levi Locus of Wilson.
The wake will be held Friday from 7 until 8 p.m. in the chapel of Rhodes Funeral Home in Fremont.
The funeral procession will line up at the home of Johnny Locus, 7314 Powell-Hook Road, Lucama.
