DAVID PARKS JR.
LAGRANGE — David Gene Parks Jr., 31, of 2354 N. Beston Road, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Wayne County and was the son of David G. Parks Sr. and Judy Lancaster Parks of LaGrange.
God called his precious child, David, home to be with Him. He knew David was tired, but now he is at rest. David was the joy of his parents’ lives. He attended Edgewood School in Goldsboro and graduated in 1994.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thomas McLendon officiating. Interment will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Giles Parks and Mr. and Mrs. Coor P. Lancaster, and his brother, Pat Barnes.
He is survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home.
